Item Appraisal

When pawning an item, there are lots of things we take into consideration to come up with a fair price! The first thing we look at is the age. Normally, if an item is older, it’s more than likely lowered in value. The next thing we look at is the condition. Does it look like it did when it was new? Or does it look like it’s been used frequently?

In order to determine a specific price, we look the current market value, in Canada. Then, once condition and age are evaluated, we usually offer around 20%-30% of that price. This is because we are a business, and if you don’t come back, we want to ensure we will be able to re-sell the item.
